What is this section for?

This section is to help you prepare for the lectures associated with the BI1014 Biological Chemistry module. For each lecture series there is some key A Level content which will be relevant and helpful for you to know. Have a look through each section before the lecture to brush up on your chemistry and make sure you're prepared. These will also be handy to look back on during the year for recaps!

What if I haven't done A Level Chemistry?

Don't panic, that's what this module is all about!! We have some top tips to help you prepare from previous students but looking through these notes and looking up what you don't understand should stand you in good stead.

"Catchup compendium for Chemistry, Khan Academy. For organic chemistry I used youtube channels like Osmosis, Crash Course. Personally, I used Crash Course for physical chemistry as well- just to set the scene before the lecture as they are short summaries that jog your memory."
